I'm Tera -- Wife to Cal, step mama to Jax, Jesus follower, and lover of all things home decor & furniture! My love for beautiful things was inherited from my mama. She has a keen eye for design and has taught me everything I know when it comes to decorating. I've loved beautiful surroundings my whole life--I simply can't live without creating beautiful things. 

My journey to becoming a furniture artist started in my early 20s when I lived in a small apartment and had very little money. I had to scrape to get by, so furnishing an apartment with new things was totally out of reach! No problem--I learned how to do simple refinishes on old (cheap and/or free) furniture, and managed to create a stylish and cozy home for myself. During that time, I learned that I absolutely loved taking something old and giving it a new life. 

Over time, my techniques and abilities have grown and changed, but my passion has not.
